The CPN-Maoist's politburo meeting concluded today, endorsing Chairman Kiran Baidhya's political proposal.
Stressing on the unity in and centralisation of the party, the politburo further directed the leadership to curb activities by "some responsible comrades" that are against the party system.
Two leaders Secretary Netra Bikram Chand and Khadga Bahadur Bishwakarma, however, did not take part in the meeting, expressing their differences with Baidhya's leadership. The Maoist politburo has 13 members.
What is more, the politburo has decided to raise the party's demand to dissolve the Constituent Assembly and form an all-party political conference. The meeting decided to organise protest programme across the country on November 19.
Baidhya's proposal will be presented before the party's Central Committee.
In a statement, jointly signed by Chairman Baidhya and General Secretary Ram Bahadur Thapa, the party said the Central Committee's meeting has been scheduled for November 15.
The meeting will finalise the agendas for the extended meeting of CC.
